DEATH IN JUNE – ‘The Phoenix Has Risen’
These recently discovered recordings were unknown to members of the group until 2005. They feature a rehearsal recording in 1981 of 9 songs, some of which were never named or released. These are coupled with 8 live songs from the seminal performance at Alan McGee’s ‘The Living Room’ club in London, 9th September 1983. That fateful evening Mr. McGee introduced Douglas P. to Tibet 93. Musical history was never to be the same again. The CD comes in a black/silver foil-blocked gatefold ‘softpak’ with also a 24cm x 24cm double-sided poster.
